This was was scene at the opening concert on Wednesday evening at the Kasturi Srinivasan hall at The Music Academy campus. On stage was vocalist Sushma Somasekaran.
The fest - Isai Mazhai - is hosted by SIFAS - Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society - which initiated this idea for the season recently.
The event runs till Dec.10 and SIFAS' top bosses, S T Kasinathan, Gen Secy and his assistant, N Niranjan who pitch tents here for some weeks are hoping youngsters will turn up this week.
Concerts feature artistes who have learnt at SIFAS' academy and those who have performed at its fest.
